Basketball Club

As an association, we strive to assist in promoting fitness, good health and fostering better police relationships, by participating with other community groups or clubs, through sport and basketball.

Each year the VPABA tour with it’s contingent to compete in the Australasian Police Basketball Association Championships, which are hosted by a State/Territory withinAustraliaorNew Zealand. These championships are the longest running annual Australasian Police sporting competition running from 1979 to present.

We also assist community groups by attending clinics and play exhibition matches each year.

We cater for any level of basketball skill (or lack of it), and we are always on the lookout for more participants, so don’t hesitate to contact one of our members for further information.…
