Bendigo Angling Club
Established in 2002 by members who were conducting fishing trips on an ad hoc basis.
Our club motto is " IT'S JUST A THIN LINE BETWEEN FISHING AND STANDING THERE LIKE AN IDIOT"
The club meets once a month on the 2nd Pay Day of the month and Special Meetings are called when and if required.
The club conducts a fishing trip for members once a month as well as conducting fishing clinics for member's families & friends once a month.
The club continues to build on its already healthy relationship with the Department of Primary Industries through their Premier Lakes Program. This program has seen club members travel to lakes within regional Victoria to assist the D.P.I. with their Family Fishing Festivals.
Other partnerships have been developed with SCOPE (intellectual and physical disabilities), Vision Australia & the recently commenced New Start Program, which club members will continue to assist & support.
The club & its members continue to support both the freshwater & saltwater angling at the police games.
