Gippsland Police Fishing Club

Since 1999 a large number of Gippsland Police members and their friends have conducted a 3 day fishing trip to Port Albert. The event grew each year and attracted business sponsorship and quality prizes. The event became so popular that each year the entire Port Albert hotel was booked for this event. Members enjoyed the trip so much that they wanted more and thus in 2006 the Gippsland Police Fishing Club Inc. was formed. The club is open to current and past members, as well as their family and friends. Many events are organised at Westernport, Corner Inlet/Welshpool, Port Albert, Ninety Mile beach, Mcloughlins Beach & Lakes Entrance. The club meets regularly during the season and members are encouraged to have input into organisational events of the club. A monthly newletter is published and the club is expected to have approximately 60 members by the end of 2006. Contact Sergeant Graham MADIN @ Yarram 51825033 or Mick MORRIS @ Traralgon 51740900.
