Police Scouters Victoria (PSV)

Police Scouters Victoria was formed in 1965 under the original banner of the Australasian Police Scouters Association and has today developed into a group of current serving & former Victoria Police members, along with Affiliated members who are also members of the Scouting movement. They provide support at major events within Victoria for example at a Cuboree, Kangaree, Mudbash, Surfmoot, Vic Gathering and large Award presentations. This interaction provides a high level of understanding between Police and youth as well as providing a worthwhile recreational activity for Police members.

Assistance includes traffic management, security, public order & emergency management advice. At some events the serving members wear a Police uniform and the other members wear a distinctive fluorescent orange shirt.  Sometimes all are dressed in the orange uniform.
